Clean and simple is the inspiration for this springtime card. These are so easy to reproduce if you need to make a set, perfect for Mother’s Day!
Supplies:
- Stamps: Peaceful Petals (w-#133104, c-#133107)
- Ink: Jet Black StazOn (#101406)
- Cardstock: Crisp Cantaloupe (#131298), Whisper White (#100730)
- Accessories: Basic Black Marker (#100082), Crisp Cantaloupe Marker (#131260 -in-color assortment), Old Olive Marker (#100079), Crushed Curry Marker (#131262 – regals assortment), Smoky Slate Marker (#131898), Blender Pens (#102845), Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430), Ruler
Instructions:
- Cut your cardstock to the following dimensions: Crisp Cantaloupe: 8-1/2” x 4-1/4”, Whisper White: 4” x 4”. Fold your Crisp Cantaloupe to create your card base.
- Stamp the flower & stem image from Peaceful Petals on your Whisper White cardstock with Jet Black StazOn ink
- Stamp the greeting to the left of the image.
- Color the flower image with Crisp Cantaloupe, Crushed Curry, and Old Olive markers. To make the image pop, trace around the outside of the image with a Blender Pen dipped in Smoky Slate. (The easiest way to do this is to scribble some ink from the brush tip of the marker onto the plastic stamp case. Then pick up some of this color with your Blender Pen.)
- Create a border around the card by drawing a line 1/2” in from the edge of the Whisper White using the Basic Black marker.
- Attach the Whisper White to the card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
