Yummy Treat For Mom a wonderful diy gift

With Mother's Day right around the corner we all need a special treat to give to the Mom's in our families — and friends, of course!

This mini pizza box is the perfect gift and quick to make. It holds four little Hershey Nuggets that are wrapped with Designer Series Paper. Yummy!

Supplies:

Stamp Set: None
Ink: None
Card Stock: Basic Black (121045) 7 1/4" x 4". This is the box. Also a scrap for the 1 3/4" circle and a scrap for the 2 1/4" x 2 1/4" mat.
Real Red (102482) scrap for Spiral Flower
Designer Series Paper: Modern Medley (126926) Cut a 2" square of the pattern of your choice. Also cut four pieces at 1" x 3". Then three pieces at 5/8" x 2 1/4" (for the sides of the box)
Punches: 1/2" Circle Punch (119869), 1 3/4" Circle Punch (119850) and the Spiral Flower Punch (129379)
Other: Big Shot and two acrylic pads (113439), Paper Snips (103579), Bone Folder (102300), Mini Glue Dots (103683), Sticky Strip (104294) and Hot Glue Gun (optional).

Instructions:

Begin by scoring the box — *See Scoring Template
Add Designer Series Paper and mat to the top of the box. (just choose an end — they are the same. Next punch the 1 3/4" circle mat and adhere to the top of the box. Add the Designer Series Paper to the three sides. Then use the 1/2" circle punch to punch a finger spot in the center of the front flap. (See little notch cut out drawn on the picture of the flat box).
Put a small piece of Sticky Strip on each of the tabs you just cut and assemble the box.
Die cut a Real Red spiral with the Spiral Flower Die and Big Shot Machine. To soften the card stock, go around the entire spiral (beginning at the end and working into the center) using your bone folder Repeat this process a couple times. You will find that it is worth the time to do this. It helps the card stock take the shape of a circular flower. Next, begin to form the flower by starting at the center (small end) and working to the end. You can use Mini Glue Dots (or a Hot Glue Gun) to hold the flower together. Adhere to the top of the box with Mini Glue Dots or a Hot Glue Gun.
Add the Designer Series Paper (1" x 3") to four Hershey Nuggets. Place inside the box and you are done. Hope you had fun with this cute project.

SCORING DIRECTIONS & TEMPLATE:

Scoring dimensions are:

3/4" on each side (up and down).
Flip to the horizontal side and score at 3/4", 3 1/4", 4", and 3/4" at the end. (See picture)
Use your Paper Snips to cut into the score line on each corner and in the center (long side).
Use a bone folder to crease all the fold lines.
