Water Coloring with Markers is a fun technique and you can do it! One of my favorite ways to watercolor with the markers is using a blender pen on our Whisper White or Very Vanilla card stock. The Stampin' Up! Stampin' Write Markers are Acid Free and water based so using them with water is a perfect choice! Here is a card I created using this technique.
Here is how you can complete this Marker Technique Water Coloring with Markers
- Using Staz-On or other pigment permanent ink and stamp three flowers
- Next take your coastal cabana Stampin' Write Marker and color on the inside of the case of your stamp set.
- Now take your blender pen and pick up the color from the marker you colored inside the case of your stamp set.
- Very lightly begin to color in your flower leaving the middle open, picking up color as necessary.
- Then start shading in the flower with darker colors to create the look you like. Keep in mind this is a flower so it can have varations and doesn't need to be exactly the same.
- Then use Pistachio Pudding Stampin' Up! marker to color in the middle of the flower.
- Repeat this process with Strawberry Slush, and Crisp Cantalope Stampin' Up! markers to finish the other two flowers.
