Today we are listing our favorite way to use our favorite adhesives, the best features and the limitations to each adhesive. Now you will know the best way to use the following adhesives for your next paper crafting projects!
Tombow Liquid Glue (Item # 110755)
- Best Features:
- Is a Crafter’s dream Glue!
- Strong bond; dries clear. High tack, goes a long way, doesn’t adhere right away so it allows time for re-positioning
- We recommend using small dots to control the output of the glue. Adheres many things.
- 0.9 oz. (27 ml)
- Has a fine tip for details and broad tip for large areas
- Acid free
- Limitations:
- Easy to use too much, sticky on the fingers.
- Not suitable for under ribbon.

- Best Features:
- very fast to use.
- Is double-sided permanent adhesive.
- It applies in a controlled amount of adhesive directly to your project,
- Hands and work area never get sticky.
- Easy to apply and refill
- Acid free
- Refills available
- Limitations:
- really only good for paper to paper.
- Medium to low tack.
- Doesn’t work extremely well in high humidity.

- Vellum
- Acetate

Tear and Tape Adhesive (Item# 138995)
- Best Features:
- tears easily so no need to use scissors and get them gummy.
- Backing easily peels off.
- High tack.
- Thin width for versatility.
- Works well with about any medium, including ribbon.
- Limitations:
- Once it’s down, it’s down for the most part, especially on paper.
- This is our favorite adhesive because it ticks almost every box!

- Can be cut in half or quarters.

- Best Features:
- No more sticky messes! Reach for this when you need whisper-thin strands of glue
- Very fine tip for adhering detailed dies, glitter with precision, or any small elements.
- Pin in the lid to prevent clogging
- Can also be used as a glossy finish – cover an element in the glue and let dry for a glossy look, such as truck windows or dew drops
- Low tack
- The slender precision tip lays down a fine line of glue—great for adhering delicately detailed paper die cuts, teensy weensy embellishments, and bits of glitter.
