If you are like me you have several gift cards purchased for family and friends, but you need a way to present them to the recipient. Imagine the joy on their face when they open this DIY Christmas Gift Card Holder!
Sitting in my craft studio, with some classic Christmas tunes playing, I pulled out some of my new goodies from the upcoming "Celebrate the Everyday" catalog supplement (that will begin on January 3rd).
I was immediately drawn to the Fringe Scissors, which I was so excited to see in the catalog, I thought I can do a lot with these! So there I sat at my table thinking of what I wanted to do. Then…..eureka!
I noticed a piece of scarlet red craft metal laying on my table. Hum…I thought, how fun to try the scissors on the craft metal. So I took the Scarlet Red Craft metal in my left hand and took the Fringe Scissors in my right and made the first cut…."Oooh!" I said out loud,"Pretty!" I absolutely loved the wavy look of the shiny metal strips and it was so fun to cut out. Before long I had a large pile of craft metal strips and I wanted to cut more, because it was so fun to do!
Now, I thought to myself, what to do with this beautiful shiny pile of shredded craft metal? My first attempt with crystal effects was an epic fail, but I then thought our Jumpo Sticky Rounds would be perfect. Yep! It worked and this DIY Christmas Gift Card Holder was well on it's way!
