Homemade Cards for Halloween are easy and fun to make and receive!    There is something about Halloween that just makes me want to create fun cards and party gifts or decorations and today I'd love to share with you a card created with the Halloween Happiness stamp set.

Homemade Cards for Halloween

Here are the supplies that were used to create this card:

  • Stamp Set:
    • Halloween Happiness
  • Card Stock:
    • Very Vanilla
    • Pumpkin Pie
    • Gumball Green
    • Basic Black
  • Designer Series Paper:
    • Witches Brew Designer Paper
  • Ink:
    • Pumpkin Pie Classic Ink
  • Stampin' Write Markers:
    • Chocolate Chip
    • Pumpkin Pie
    • Gumball Green
  • Accessories:
    • Chevron Border Punch (Item# 132154)
    • Deco Labels Collection (Item#130102)
    • Big Shot (Item#113439)
    • Big Shot Magnetic Platform (Item#130658)
    • Stampin' Sponges (Item#101610)

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Cut your Pumpkin Pie Cardstock to 5 1/2 by 4 1/4
  2. Cut your Basic Black Cardstock to 5 1/4 by 4
  3. But your Witches Brew Designer Series Paper to 2 x 4
  4. Take your Halloween Happiness stamp set and use the Marker to Stamp Technique to color the stamp.   Download MARKER TO STAMP TECHNIQUE
  5. Next stamp your inked image onto the Very Vanilla Card Stock.   This can be a scrap piece of card stock no more then 4 x 4 in dimension.
  6. Next get your magnetic platform and place a cutting plate on top of it.
  7. Put your stamped image ontop of the cutting plate and place  framelit from Deco Labels Collection over image.
  8. Put cutting plate over the framelit and run through big shot.
  9. Next take your Stampin' Sponge and ink up with Pumpking Pie ink and sponge the edges of the framelit.  Download Thwacking Technique
  10. Use your Chevron punch to punch through the Witches Brew Designer Series Paper
  11. Assemble card using snail adhesive.
  12. You are Done!
