Yes! DIY Card for beginners, anyone can be creative.  Today on YOU CAN DO IT MONDAY I'll show you how to make a simple yet beautiful card even a beginner can do.

Cut your 8 1/2 x 11 sheet of paper at 5 1/2 inches and you will create 2 card bases.

Next you'll want to fold your card in half matching up the corners and then using the bone folder to crease the fold for a nice crisp fold.

Then take a piece of Designer Series Double Sided paper and cut it at 5 1/2 inches long and then at 2 inches wide.

Next adhere the designer series paper to the card base using snail adhesive.

http://www.1stclasscreativity.com/2009/03/diy-card-for-beginners-with-1st-class-creativity.html - visit www.1stclasscreativity.com    As you can see the Designer Series Paper is applied horizontally to the card.  Then I took the self adhesive die cuts and put one layer at the top of the card and then assembled the die cut cupcake.  Then I picked out a rub – on greeting from the chit chat rub-ons and applied to the upper right of the card.
