Goal Setting.  Remember setting Goal Setting back on January 1, 2014?  You know the New Years Resolutions that you were committed to?  How is it going?   Are you on track to keep those goals throughout the rest of the year?   Believe it or not we are half way through the year and if you are like us and 99% of the people out there we may have lost track of the goal setting we mapped out for change in 2014.   That's where this goal setting Journal for the DIY Crafter was inspired.

Goal Setting - Journal for the DIY Crafter - Visit http://www.1stclasscreativity.com/2014/07/goal-settingjournal-for-the-diy-crafter.htmlWe loved the stamp we used because it outlines how many of us go through life.  The Journey is never really over it just changes its course some times.   When that happens embracing it is part of the journey don't you agree?

Here is a Tweetable for you!  "When Goal Setting the Journey is part of the Adventure!"   Sometimes our Journeys take different courses and takes us down different roads before we meet the Goal Setting we put in place.  The important thing is to never give up on your Goals.

According to S at www.Revived-Living.com keeping a Journal is a great idea.  So creating this Journal for the DIY Crafter was super simple.  Keeping in mind that most of us have just a little time to do things that we knew repurposing this Composition Book just had to be easy.  So this is a brief description on how we did it.  If you require a step by step tutorial, please leave a comment and we will send you a DIY JOURNAL TUTORIAL to your inbox for FREE!

To start we used this Composition Book that was purchased for $1 in the clearance bin at a local store.

Next open the Composition Book so the lined pages are facing the table.

TIP: It's helpful if you open it so the pages are even on both sides underneath.

Then use Sticky strip on all the edges and place on strip in the middle of the front and back of the book.   We also place sticky strip on each side of the binding and also in the middle of the binding.

Now take your desginer paper and place over the book with the design you want on the paper faceing you.  We placed the paper left to right.   Do this slowly so you don't have any bubble or uneven edges.

Now you can decorate to your hearts content.

Love what "S" has to say at www.revived-living.com:

"Thoughts and emotions are changing quickly day to day and what you wanted December 31st might be drastically different than what you want January 15th. Use the journal to track this and take the time to explore what is different for you now. If it is really not in alignment with what you want brainstorm and repeat bullet 1 again extensively!"
