Smoothie Recipes For The 4th Of July And Stress Free Party Planning Tips Too!
Each and every time I plan any sort of festivity for family and friends, I commit to doing way too much for the day and become overwhelmed. Granted, no one else knows what exactly I decided to get myself in to, but that doesn’t detour me from making every small detail of my vision come true! Since Fourth of July is just around the corner, I wanted to share my top tips with you for keeping stress levels low, guests cheery, and actually getting to join the party (there is nothing worse than constantly stressing during the party and never getting to enjoy it!) as well as some Smoothie Recipes perfect for the guests.
- Make a list
- Yes of course of course, you have heard this a million times before, but seriously this time just do it. Whenever you plan anything, there are a million little details that can easily get swept away with all the other things you have to get done. If they are written down, it prevents mind clutter, and saves you time when trying to remember what you have to do next.
- Delegate
- We all have our own lovely strengths and weaknesses. If decorations or music aren’t your thing, recruit a friend to help.
- Listen to your favorite tunes while setting up the day of
- There are never enough seconds the morning of the party. I know I am always doing last minute trips to the store, rushing to finish the food, and THEN there is the cleaning after that. (BONUS: Try and find recipes that you can prep in advance) With all this going on around you, there is nothing like your favorite music to make it all bearable and maybe even fun too;]
- Mix up a special cocktail for the hostess (aka you!)
- As the hostess, we put all our effort on how our guests feel that day and neglect what we might need. Take a minute for yourself before everyone gets there and mix up your favorite cocktail. As much as this day is for all your guests to have a great time, you have to have a great time too! (Only include this tip if you are 21+, and all your last minute trips to the store are complete.)
- Breathe, and let go
- There is only so much we can do before we just have to say,”and so it is.” All your guests really need is good company, some music in the background, good food, and maybeee a cocktail or two to have a memorable time. While the little details may matter to us, they will most likely appreciate the thought and time it took, but will not be what they recall at next years bash.
