Inspiration can be found anywhere. Bokeh is a photography technique that can easily be transferred to stamping. Bokeh is a Japanese term that refers to the blur in/out of focus areas of an image. Bokeh can use different images like dots, hearts or stars to provide the blur in the photograph. This technique will lend a dreamy, soft effect to your stamping.

Instructions:

 1. Use any circle stamp to create the circles. In the sample card, a sponge dauber was used to create the circles, lending naturally to the “blur “ effect when stamped. Technique BO2 2-19-14

2. Stamp the circle 3 times, concentrating the darker circles to the outside of corners. With each progressive stamp of the dauber, stamp towards your focal part, creating the blur effect. Each color was stamped 3 times without reinking the dauber.

Yes it is THAT simple!
