A special thank you to all who took part in the All-Day Super Bowl Special. Those who placed an order on my website yesterday were probably on the edge of their seats waiting to see what the discount on their order would be.
The game sure had it's ups and downs! The final score was 34-31 with the Baltimore Ravens pulling out a big win, so that gave those that placed an order a 5% off savings on their order.
Thank you again to all that participated in this fun once a year savings! Those that ordered $50 also received a sale-a-bration item free as well! What a fun time of year to build your crafting supplies!
Even though Superbowl has come and gone you can still scrapbook your Superbowl memories. Unfortunately I have no photos to scrapbook as my teenage boys and their friends did not give me permission to post their pictures.
However, I didn't want to leave you without a creative entry so I decided to scrapbook a Milestone Birthday.
What's special about this birthday is my cousin Britt-Marie. See she lives in Chicago area and she's an actress. A very good one! I went to Chicago to see her in a theatre production. She was absolutely awesome along with an incredibly talented cast. That also gave me some time to visit with my Uncle and Aunt as well. I so enjoyed the time with them! Something I will cherish and I only wish I had taken more pictures!
However that's not the only thing special. We both shared a Milestone Birthday. And that's not all. We share the exact same birthday and we are exactly 25 years apart! So although I don't generally shout out to the world how old I am I look at birthdays as blessings from God.
I love celebrating Birthdays. To me Birthdays are days that the Lord decided we had a purpose down here on earth and hence we were born into our respective families. Milestone Birthdays are no different.
My thoughts on Milestone Birthdays is it's a day to be treasured and remembered. Not depressed and down in the dumps. They are days to celebrate with others and look back at what you have accomplished and what you can accomplish in the next 10-15 years!
To me Milestone Birthdays are special, and when you share a Milestone birthday with someone else close to you, well, that's just plain awesome!
So before I left to come home I took these milestone birthday pictures. We both had little to no make up on so we have our natural beauty showing. I think that's an awesome thing.
Now granted, this isn't a traditiional Milestone Birthday scrapbook page. Honestly I don't have enough photos for an entire book. However I do have a scrapbooking tip.
If you wanted to give someone a Milestone Birthday Scrapbook as a gift (which would be an awesome idea) you could use a theme like "Fifty Fun Facts and Things We Love About You!" or "Twenty Five Fun Facts and Things We Love About You!" you get the idea :). Then inside the book reflect that on the inside pages.
