As I write this its burr…..19 degrees outside. Now don't get me wrong….I love snow….yes I really do but I also LOVE Palm Trees and the Ocean!
What I don't care for is the colder temps. When it gets in the teens and below zero I begin to wish for spring. So I pulled out the Flower Flair Simply Scrappin Kit and it really cheered me up, kinda like a wish come true! I purchased this as a bundle (Item#131103) from the Stampin' Up! 25th Anniversary Spring Catalog so I have a super cute daffodil delight 8 x 8 Designer Printed ring album that cooridnates with this kit as well!
So here is page one:
I designed this page to accomodate a 5 x 7 picture. And as you can see the photo can go either vertical or horizontal on the page (I love versatility!) Notice the scallop on the bottom? That was done with the Simply Scored Borders Scoring Plate! (Item#126192) It's SO FUN to use! Your creative options are endless! TIP: GO SLOW…..when you use that tool you don't want to think you in a race or you will go out the the grooves…..slow and steady is the technique for this tool! Not to slow though, just a nice slower tempo is all that's needed for a crisp image. You can use the embossed or debossed side it's up to you!
So here is page two
You can see I used two different images from the Simply Scored Borders plate on this page. The Flower Fair kit comes with alot of cut items including the adorable daffodil delight buttons and the cute ribbon! Now I just need to decide what pictures to put in them. :)
Here is the layout together:
I'm going to finish this book tonight so I'll share some more tomorrow!
There is nothing like sharing your families legacy with your loved ones. This will be a great little book to scrapbook my niece or even my pets.
