If you haven't watched the video you can do so below. Here are some tips I learned when using the Sweet Pressed Cookie Stamps.
- The Handle is wood and can be wiped down. Don't put in water
- To clean the cookie stamps remove the silicone stamp from the handle. The silicone stamp is dishwasher safe or can be washed in warm soapy water.
- Cookie recipes with leavening (such as baking powder or baking soda) work best with the stamps to produce sharp images.
- To create dough balls that are uniform in size, scoop the dough using a cookie scoop before rolling it into a ball.
- Depending on the recipe you use, chilling the dough before or after making dough balls may create a more distinct impression.
- For a smoother, finished edge, roll out dough on a floured surface, stamp with the Sweet Pressed Cookie Stamp and the cut out with a cookie cutter. carefully move cookie to cookie sheet.

- Keep in mind I'm NOT a great baker, but I think most of the cookies (at least the ones I could recover when I got back from a meeting to photograph) turned out well and the kids loved them and are no longer on the plate! LOL!

- For an extra touch you could lightly dust the cookie with powdered sugar or experiment with food coloring.
Here is the Sugar Cookie Recipe I used from the Sweet Pressed Cookie Stamp instruction booklet from Stampin' Up!:
- 1 Cup salted butter, softened to room temperature
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 2 egg yolks
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 -1/8 cup flour
Preheat oven to 350 degress F/175 degrees C. Cream butter and sugar; beat until flugffy. Add egg yolks one at a time and mix well. Add vanilla, salt and flour and mix well. Dough should be sstiff and not sticky. Roll into 1 1/2" balls. Place 2 – 1/" apart onan ungreeased cookie sheet and press with Sweet Pressed Cookie Stamp. bake 16 to 18 minutes or until bottom of cookie is lightly browned (edges may be slight brown, but the top should not brown). Makes approsimately 16 cookies.
Be sure to adust recipe as needed for your oven and altitude.
