Scrapbooking preserves your families memories, and it's so fun and easy to do. I personally like to create a 6 x 6 page and then transition to a 12 x 12 page. Its one way for you as a scrapbooker to experiment without doing an entire 12 x 12 page. It (in my opinion) is the best way to test colors and layouts in a way that doesn't use too many materials to begin with. Then once you get a layout you like you can adhere a 6 x 6 page to a 12 x 12 page and add onto it from there. You can also use a 6 x 6 page on a 8 1/2 x 11 layout the same way. Here is a 6 x 6 page that I created and used on an 8 1/2 x 11 layout
I added some journaling ( I wish I printed better, but at least it's my writing) and versa mark bubble on the Yo Yo Yellow. Then I used the 1 1/4 punch and the Large circle punch and added a title. The stamp set used for the letters is the new Jumble Alphabet set in the new catalog to be release July 1st! It's fun and playful!
After that I decided I wanted to add more so I put the 8 1/2 x 11 page onto the 12 x 12 page and added some smaller photos to build onto the page. Here is the final 12 x 12 page:
As you can see the photos I added help tell the story and the arrows from the Look Here Sizzix Die just really help complete the page. I just love this page, too cute!
