DIY Jewelry Chest well it’s a Jewel Chest that could hold brads and other fun trinkets for papercrafting.  Today I’m spotlighting some of the fun items I made this past week for my hostesses and yep, you guessed it, the DIY Jewelry Chest was one of them.   At  the  bottom  of  the  post  I have  a picture  of  some  of  the  other  items  I created  as  gifts  for  my  hostesses.  http://www.1stclasscreativity.com/2009/03/diy-jewelry-chest.html - visit www.1stclasscreativity.comTo create this  I used the Matchbox Die in the Sizzix Big Shot Machine.  I used Rhinestone Brads as the knobs.

To create the Jewelry Chest you will need Designer Series Paper, Ribbon, Brads, the Matchbox Die, the Big Shot  Machine, adhesive and Ribbon.  Make sure you are using sticky strip or another permanent adhesive as you need something really strong to hold this project together.

From left to right, the item on the left is made from the Sizzix Scallop Die, the middle item is the matchbox die available through the Occasions Mini Catalog.  All the items above were made with the Sizzix Big Shot.  The last item on the right is a diaper fold made from designer series paper and that was discussed in a prior blog post, with detailed instructions.  How fun!
